Comer Family Foundation is pleased to introduce Monique D. Etienne as our new Grants and Data Manager.
Monique brings over 15 years of nonprofit and philanthropic experience to our team. Prior to joining us, she worked at the Joyce Foundation where she supported the Employment, Culture and Gun Violence Prevention and Justice Reform portfolios. She also worked with Civic Consulting Alliance providing project management for their board engagement and development teams. Monique earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adler University and served as a therapist at Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center and Onarga Academy.
In her new role, Monique will work with our grantees and community partners, and analyze and interpret data as we seek to further our impact. She will also help to manage our annual Comer Climate Conference. Monique has three children, enjoys nature walks, cooking, and photography.
